Byers Bush Powder Coating Inc is the only Toronto based custom coater currently stocking a powder from Europe that is the closest match to anodized silver, bronze and black available on the market.

The advantages of going with a powder coated finish are that our lead time is 3 days or less, the price is less expensive and the powder hides the lines that are often seen through the anodizing in the aluminum.

Brian Fancy to Take Over as the New General Manager of Byers Bush Powder Coating Inc.

Brian Fancy, who has been the Sales Manager at Byers Bush Powder Coating Inc. since June of 2009, has been appointed the new General Manager of the company.

Brian takes over from Andrew Rush, who is moving to Byers Bush sister company, Brampton based aluminum extruder, Almag Aluminum.

“We have had this transition in the works for the last 9 months. We needed to add a great sales person, who we have in Len Yap, and we needed more strength in the plant, that Carl Dawson brings to us. And Brian has gradually taken over more responsibilities from me in the last 2 months and has shown a natural ability to lead and make the right decisions,” explains Andrew Rush.

A Match to Anodized Aluminum in a Powder Form!

A new powder, which is the best match to anodized aluminum available on the market, has recently become available to us. It is being used in Europe and is now making its way to North America. We are one of the first powder coaters to get a sample of this powder and have painted sample panels that are hanging in our show room. Seven different anodized aluminum colours have been matched thus far. Byers Bush Powder Coating Inc has passed the stringent AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturing Association's) 2604 testing protocol, which includes being able to withstand 3,000 salt spray hours without failure on extruded aluminum. This achievement also signifies that their internal quality assurance program is excellent. With this testing now complete, Byers Bush Powder Coating Inc is able to offer a warranty on jobs that require it.

Byers Bush Adds Silk Screening to the Services Offered

Byers Bush Powder Coating Inc. is proud to announce that they have teamed with a strategic partner to be able to offer silk screening services. The silk screening uses a proprietary method, allowing the process to be done in the plant as parts are coming off of the powder coating line. The parts cure in 1 minute and then are ready to ship out. In addition, Byers Bush Powder Coating Inc. can also then package, box, strap, band, etc products for our customers, eliminating freight costs and drastically cutting down the amount of time a normal job that requires silk screening and/or packaging would take. With 24,000 square feet of floor space, specialized packaging requirements are easy for them to accommodate.

Byers Bush Powder Coatings has been added to a select group of companies to be recognized by TIGER Drylac as an approved applicator for warranted projects.  Companies can only apply to be an approved applicator with qualifying pretreatments and then earn this certificate via stringent testing in both laboratory and on site tests.

Mississauga's Byers Bush Powder Coating Inc., which provides industrial powder coating services, was recently awarded the 2009 Industry Award for Energy Saving by the Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation (CIPEC).
